This kitchen interior painting project in Canton, MI was more than a color refresh—it was a full cabinet transformation. Over three weeks, our team replaced all cabinet doors and drawer faces, refinished the existing boxes, and painted the kitchen walls. We used high-end imported Norvalk paint, tinted to Snowbound, giving the cabinets a fresh, smooth finish. For contrast, we brushed the walls with Sherwin-Williams Anew Gray, creating a soft, inviting balance that elevated the entire space.
Background / Story:
The homeowners loved their kitchen layout but were tired of how dated it looked. They didn’t want to gut the space, just give it a cleaner, lighter, more modern feel. After seeing our previous work online, they reached out to discuss options. Together, we came up with a plan to update everything visually, without changing the structure. New cabinet doors, refinished boxes, and interior painting of kitchen walls made all the difference.
Scope of Services:
- Cabinet Painting & Finishing: We spray-finished 25 new doors and 11 drawer faces using Norvalk paint tinted to Snowbound. The color gave the cabinets a crisp, fresh look that works beautifully with stainless appliances and light counters.
- Box Refinishing & Molding: We sanded and refinished 18 cabinet boxes, 8 decorative panels, crown, and base molding—bringing everything into a clean, seamless match with the new doors.
- Interior Painting of Kitchen Walls: The walls were painted in Sherwin-Williams LoSheen Anew Gray. This warm neutral gave the space a touch of depth and contrast, making the white cabinets pop without feeling stark.
